Annual Q&R Holiday Party!!! Eddie G writes:

All: Did you actually think I would forget?

No way, never! I am just swamped and did not get the email out this year in time. I hope you had enough faith in me to know that I would eventually get "around TU-IT" (little joke there for Bobby Bott - see if he remembers).
So, how about we all get together on the 12th of December at 6:00 and have a drink or two and wish the best people you ever worked with a Happy Holiday Season?

We always meet at the midtown (NYC) Sheraton (if you do not know the address please use www.google.com versus emailing me) at the bar. I see no reason to change this.

Assume you are the only person getting this email and that your friends are NOT on the list.

Forward this to anyone and everyone as all are welcome. If I left you off the list and you are getting this from a forward - it is NOTHING personal and my contact notes need to be updated.

Can not wait to for you all to see me.

Gods in the Chrysalis

"Whenever you go out of the doors, draw the chin in, carry the crown of the head high and fill the lungs to the utmost; drink in the sunshine; greet your friends with a smile and put soul into every handclasp.

Do not fear being misunderstood and do not waste a minute thinking about your enemies.

Try to fix firmly in your mind that you would like to do and then without veering off direction, you will move straight to the goal. Keep your mind on the great and splendid things you would like to do and then as the days go gliding by, you will find yourself unconsciously seizing upon the opportunity that are required for the fulfillment of your desire, just as the coral insect takes from the running tide the element it needs.

Picture in your mind the able, earnest, useful person you desire to be, and the thought you hold is hourly transforming you into that particular individual.

Thought is supreme.

Preserve a right mental attitude - the attitude of courage, frankness and good cheer.

To think rightly is to create.

All things come through desire and every sincere prayer is answered.

We become like that on which our hearts are fixed.

Carry your chin in and the crown of your head high.

We are gods in Chrysalis."

- Elbert Hubbard.

Close Up to the Holy Father

Pope Benedict's visit to Yankee Stadium was a special event for many, and few had the pleasure of seeing the Holy Father as close up as our own Siobhan Deasy did!
