Deirdre (Hart) Weis

It is with great sorrow and regret to inform everyone that fellow QR alum, Deirdre (Hart) Weis, sister-in-law to QR alum Barbara Weis, Daughter of QR alum Peggy Hart, and beloved wife of Q&R alum, Jim Weis, passed away this morning after a brave and courageous battle with her illness.

WEIS, Deirdre (Hart) Of Westwood and Falmouth, formerly of West Roxbury, April 16th. Beloved wife of James V., and dear mother of Brian J. and Christopher J., both of Westwood. Loving daughter of Margaret (Fitzgibbon) Hart of Glen Cove, NY and the late Joseph W. Hart. Dear sister of David of Northampton, Michael of Larkspur, CA, and Jacqueline Winston of NYC, NY. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Monday at 9 AM from the Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High St. (Rte 109), WESTWOOD followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Denis Church, 157 Washington St. (Rte 1A), Islington at 10 o'clock. Burial in New Westwood Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday 3-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to the Jimmy Fund, c/o Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, Brookline. MA 02445 would be appreciated.
