It is with great sadness that I post that Cathy Hart, a fellow Q&R employee for many years, has passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
HART - Cathleen, age 42, of Garden City, on May 1, 2009. Ms. Hart passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends after a long and heroic battle. Beloved daughter of the late Howard and Lorraine Hart. Loving sister of Janine Nebons, Patricia Nesssler, Susan Dahill, Gene Hart, Christopher Hart and the late Carol Hart. Devoted aunt of Katherine, Elizabeth, Caroline, Christopher, Courtney, Lindsey, Allison, Michelle, Ashley,Richard, William, Anne and Thomas. Devoted friend to many, most especially to her classmates from Trinity College. Ms. Hart served as Director of Marketing Strategy and Services for UBS Global Asset Management Inc. Ms. Hart was a tireless breast cancer survival advocate. Visiting at the Fairchild Sons Funeral Chapel, Franklin Ave and 12th Street Garden City on Sunday May 3, 2-4 and 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial St. Joseph's Church, Garden City, Monday 10am. Interment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Cathleen's memory to The Young Survival Coalition, 61 Broadway, Suite 2235, New York, New York 10006.
